New Lettering for Historic Armagh City

Last week Vault artist and sign painter Laura Nelson painted bold vertical signage for the newly developed and named ‘Liptons Lane’ in Armagh City. This 8m lettering was painted in a specially designed version of Clarendon typeface in keeping with the local heritage of old newspapers and theatre advertising uncovered during the renovation of the nearby Market Place theatre. Huge thanks to Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon district councils for commissioning the work and to the residents of Liptons Lane for their kind accommodation!
